INTAKE, TRANSFER & RELEASE JAIL

Maricopa County's Intake, Transfer, and Release (ITR) jail is a 190,000 square foot facility that was opened in 2020. ITR performs all of the intake and booking processes for new arrests and self-surrender detainees. The facility has four courtrooms to conduct the Initial Appearance of the inmates. There is an attached 512-bed facility that temporarily serves as a housing unit until the inmate is processed. The housing unit can also provide any medical or mental health needs that an inmate may have while being processed. After an inmate is booked and goes to their Initial Appearance, they will be sent to one of the general population facilities (4th Ave Jail, Estrella Jail, Lower Buckeye Jail, Watkins Jail, or Towers jail). The Intake, Transfer and Release Jail has a “Transportation Hub” for the coordinated transport of defendants into and out of custody. All inmates being released from custody will be transported from their housing unit to the ITR for release processing. If a bond can be posted while an inmate is still at ITR and before they are transported to general population, they will generally be released within a few hours. Once the are transported to a general population facility release times are approximately 24 hours. For faster release times, call Phoenix Bail Bonds The original Phoenix Bail Bonds company (620) 267-9057

DON'T MAKE MATTERS WORSE BY POSTING BAIL

Bailing a friend or family member out of jail is a big decision…and a big responsibility.

Ask yourself these questions before bailing someone out of jail: 1. Will the defendant go to court? 2. Does the defendant have transportation to court? 3. Will the defendant abide by his conditions of release? 4. Will the defendant abstain from their drug or alcohol addiction while on release? 5. Will the defendant break the law while on release? 6. Will the defendant physically harm themselves? Although the law will only hold you financially liable for the full bond amount, your conscience may bear the moral weight of making matters worse for the defendant. Weigh the consequences of the type of person you are bailing out; are they capable of meeting their court obligations, will they break the law while out on bond, will they sink deeper into their addiction, or physically harms themselves? Evaluate whether you are truly helping an inmate before you bail them out of jail.

Guilt or Innocence

Guilty or innocent it doesn’t matter.

Whether you committed a crime or didn’t do it - bail bonds are provided to any client that can put up the required collateral and pay the fee. Risk is an important factor to a bondsman when issuing a bond; this is why bail bonds in Phoenix are secured with collateral. Collateral is property or cash that is held as security against the bond – it acts as a guarantee that the Indemnitor on the bond has the ability to cover any loss that the bondsman may incur. Loss occurs when a bond is forfeited by the court for the defendant’s Failure to Appear. Looking for a bail bond? We would be happy to explain the process to you. Go to Court Before Posting Bail

NOBODY WANTS TO BE IN JAIL

https://phoenixbailbonds.co

Phoenix Bail Bonds realizes that no one wants to be in jail, but sometimes exercising a little patience will pay off in a big way. Once you get arrested, it's smart to go to your Initial Appearance before bailing out of jail. State law requires everyone to be taken before a magistrate within 24 hours - so you won't have long to wait. At the Initial Appearance, you will be informed of your Charges, your Conditions of Release, and when your next scheduled hearing will be. This is also when bail is set and in many cases you may be released on your own recognizance and won't have to post bail - this could save you a lot of money. If you bail out before your Initial Appearance, you will have 10 days to schedule a hearing with the court of jurisdiction. If you fail to do this, a warrant will be issued for your arrest and whatever bond or bail that was posted on your behalf will be forfeited.
