Arizona Time limitations to file a Criminal Complaint

The defendant must appear before a magistrate within 24 hours of getting booked, or must be released.

The County Attorney has 48 hours after the Initial Appearance (excluding weekends and holidays) to file a formal complaint. If the County Attorney does not file the formal complaint within 48 hours, the defendant must be released. For all your bail bond needs, please contact Phoenix Bail Bonds.
